Why email records matter

Since 2024, Gmail and Yahoo reject or spam-folder mail from domains without SPF and DMARC. Missing records can mean quote requests and invoices go unread.

What to fix first

Add an SPF record listing the services that send your email, then a DMARC record. Start DMARC with p=none to monitor, then move to p=quarantine.
