What we collect

• Account details: name, email address, password (stored securely, never readable by us) or your Google sign-in, and 2FA settings for staff.
• Workspace data you add: clients, keywords, competitors, reports, content plans, outreach tasks, portal branding and team members.
• Results of checks you run: map rankings, search, backlink, business profile and AI answer data about the businesses and websites you check.
• Billing and credits: plan, credit balance and history, referral and commission records. Card and payment details are handled by Stripe, our payment processor, and are never stored by us.
• Messages: support tickets, Write for us submissions and contributor drafts.
• Usage and technical data: pages visited, referral link clicks, free tool usage counts, device and browser details, and error logs used to keep the service working.

How we use it

• To run the tools you ask for and save the results to your workspace.
• To charge credits only for checks you confirm, and keep an accurate credit history.
• To show invited clients the portal sections their agency chooses to share.
• To pay referral commissions and prevent abuse.
• To answer support requests, secure accounts and fix problems.
• To send service messages about your account. We don't sell your information, and we don't use your workspace data to advertise to you.

Who processes it

We share information only with services that help us run Local-SEO.com:

• Lovable Cloud: hosting, database, sign-in and file storage.
• DataForSEO: receives the keywords, locations, business names and websites you check, to return search and map data.
• AI providers through the Lovable AI Gateway: receive the client data needed to answer the Client Analyst, draft content or build courses. Answers aren't stored by the provider for training.
• Google: if you sign in with Google or connect Search Console.
• OpenStreetMap: loads the map images on Geo-Grids.
• Stripe: processes payments, taxes, receipts and refunds under its own privacy policy.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our users and the service.

Agencies and their clients

When an agency adds a client, the agency decides what information is saved and who can see it. For that client data, the agency is responsible for having permission to use it, and we process it on the agency's behalf. Client portal sections can be hidden, require sign-in, or be shared with anyone who has the private link. Resetting a share link immediately turns off the old one.

Outreach emails open in your own email app. Local-SEO.com never sends cold outreach emails for you.

Cookies and browser storage

We use essential browser storage to keep you signed in, remember referral links, and save preferences like pinned menu items. Assistant chat history and course progress are currently stored in your browser only. We don't use advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

Workspace data is kept while your account is open. Credit and payment records are kept as long as accounting and tax rules require. When you ask us to close your account, we delete or anonymize your workspace data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.

Your choices and rights

You can view and edit most of your information in the app. To get a copy of your data, correct it or delete your account, contact us through the help and support form. Depending on where you live, you may have extra rights, such as objecting to certain uses or complaining to a data protection authority.

Security

Access to every workspace's data is checked at the database, not just on screen. Admin access requires 2FA. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and tell us right away if you suspect a problem.

Children

Local-SEO.com is a business tool and isn't meant for anyone under 16.

Changes

If we make important changes, we'll update the date above and tell signed-in users in the app. See also our Terms of Service.
