Make pages load fast, especially on phones
What it is
Speed is measured by Google's Core Web Vitals: how fast the main content appears, how quickly the page responds to taps, and whether things jump around while loading.
Why it matters
Slow pages lose callers, and very poor experience can hold back rankings.

Compressed images, few plugins, main text visible in under 2.5 seconds on mobile.
✗ Common mistake
A 6 MB hero video that autoplays before the phone number appears.
