Lesson 7 of 7 · Code quality

Use real headings, lists and labels

What it is

Build pages with proper HTML: headings for titles, lists for lists, buttons for buttons and labels on form fields. Avoid using tables for layout.

Why it matters

Clean structure helps search engines and screen readers understand the page — good accessibility and good SEO overlap.

✓ Good example

Each page has one main heading and sections with sub-headings.

✗ Common mistake

Bold text styled to look like headings; form boxes with no labels.

You pass when: Headings are real headings and every form field has a label.
