Lesson 3 of 6 · Structure

Use one main heading and clear sub-headings

What it is

Give each page a single main heading (H1) and break the content into sections with sub-headings (H2, H3) that are short and descriptive.

Why it matters

Headings help skim-readers find their answer and help search engines understand the page's sections.

✓ Good example

H1 'Furnace Repair in Omaha', then H2s for signs, cost, process and FAQs.

✗ Common mistake

No headings, just one long block of text.

You pass when: A skim of the headings tells you what the page covers.
