Set your content signals
What it is
Content signals are a robots.txt line that states how your content may be used: search results, AI answers (ai-input) and AI training (ai-train).
Why it matters
It lets you say 'yes, recommend me in answers' while making a separate choice about training — a clear statement crawlers increasingly respect.
✓ Good example
Content-Signal: search=yes, ai-input=yes, ai-train=no
✗ Common mistake
Blocking every AI bot outright to avoid training, which also removes you from AI answers.
Try it: choose your signals
Content-Signal: search=yes, ai-input=yes, ai-train=no
