Lesson 3 of 5 · Sitemaps
Keep your sitemap clean
What it is
Your sitemap should list only live, indexable pages you want found.
Why it matters
A sitemap full of errors or redirects sends mixed signals to search engines.
✓ Good example
A sitemap with only 200 OK pages.
✗ Common mistake
A sitemap listing 404s and test pages.
