Lesson 6 of 6 · Languages

Tell Google about language versions

What it is

If you have the same pages in more than one language (for example English and Spanish), link the versions with hreflang tags.

Why it matters

It helps Google show Spanish speakers the Spanish page instead of the English one.

✓ Good example

/es/reparacion-de-techos linked as the Spanish version of /roof-repair.

✗ Common mistake

A Spanish page with no connection to the English one.

You pass when: Each language version points to the others.
