What it is
Your Google Business Profile is the listing on Google Maps. Completing it means a precise main category, extra categories, hours, service areas, services and description.
Why it matters
Google's AI answers and many assistants lean on Maps data for local questions. A thin profile gives them little reason to pick you.

✗ Common mistake
Category 'Contractor', no hours, no services, a two-word description.
